“If it is not worthy
of death it is not worthy of having!”
So the Democrats, with few exceptions and perhaps some liberal
Republicans, with exceptions, want us to simply “cut and
run” in Iraq because of the imagined failed policies as indicated
by the number of deaths suffered by our troops. This sounds like
a justifiable reason until we count the cost of such cowardice.
Had our fore fathers not believed that our freedoms were worthy
of death, we would never have been a free people and America, as
we have known her, would never have existed. We had best take a
long hard look at the consequences of any “Cut & Run
Policy” lest we run smack into a colossal disaster! Remember
the words of Patrick Henry, “Give me liberty or give me death!” Indeed
there would be no freedom in the world unless people were willing
to sacrifice their lives for it. If you think we have problems
now just allow these “nit-wits” in the legislature
to have their way and you haven’t seen anything yet. Does
this mean that they are un-American? Absolutely and I make no apology
for it. In the first place the number of deaths in this war do
not compare at all with the number of deaths in previous wars in
which Americans have fought, over the past two hundred years or
so, to gain and retain our freedoms. These legislators seem to
forget the reasons we are in this current war in the first place.
Do they not realize that we are fighting a war for our very existence?
We have never before faced this kind of enemy and we had better
remember that they are planning for our annihilation. They seem
to forget that the majority of them voted for us to go to war in
the beginning when the idea was more popular with the voter. The
moment the war started losing its popular support, as a result
of the actions of an irresponsible, left leaning media, they hit
the back petal so fast that they all got whiplash and that is probably
their problem today.
Almost immediately, they started whining that they were not given
the correct information by the President. These apparent un-informed “has-beens” were
told by President Bush that weapons of mass destruction were, in
fact, in Iraq. To them it mattered not that the Democratic Party,
prior to the Bush Administration, had also insisted that these
weapons were there, the United Nations insisted that they were
there, many other governments around the world insisted that they
were there and the majority of the people in this nation believed
them to be present. It mattered not that Saddam Husain had used
such weapons in the recent past on his own people and against Iran.
It appears that these “intellectual lightweights” such
as the Harry Reid’s, the Nancy Pelosi’s the Ted Kennedy’s
the John Kerry’s, the Dick Durbin’s and many others
like them based their decisions upon issues which they believed
would garner more votes at that particular point in time. Their
true convictions and their concerns for this nation were secondary
to the political expediency of the moment. It never occurred to
these “simpletons” that there were, in fact, “weapons
of mass destruction” in Iraq prior to the war, but they were
most likely moved to Syria before the war even started. They saw
an opportunity to embarrass President Bush and at the same time
to come up with an excuse to do their back peddling. They chose
to embarrass the President rather than holding firm and supporting
the integrity of the nation in a time of crises; they chose to
take the “low road” for a quick political advantage.
In the process they succeeded in completely undermining the nation,
the President and our troops who were in harm’s way, for
political expediency. We had former members of the Iraqi military
tell us that these weapons were, in fact, moved out of the country
just prior to the war but they chose to ignore these facts completely.
At this point, even the President and some of his top men faltered
somewhat and appeared to agreed with their rivals in an apparent
effort to pacify and appease them and hopefully gain a little support
from them but the tactic failed. It is my opinion that President
Bush started losing support, not as a result of his previously
firm stand in Afghanistan and Iraq, but as a result of his capitulation
to appease these opponents.
Now, if these legislators of which we speak were not outright
lying and were actually misled by the President as they claimed,
then we really have a major problem in this nation. Does this not
tell us what a “bunch of simpletons” we have at the
helm of our government? “Oh! He didn’t tell us the
truth and we all believed everything he said. If we had only known
we would never have voted to go to war.” Duh! Do these “simpletons” not
have a brain in their head with which to think? We do not need
that kind of brain power in Washington! Please note, I am not saying
that these people are unintelligent, for indeed they may be, but
they have absolutely no wisdom. Wisdom comes from almighty God
and these people are relying completely on mans knowledge which
is seriously insufficient and cannot stand the test of time. Is
it possible that we actually have people such as these who are
running our government? Are we, the American people, so gullible
that we allow these legislators to get away with such nimble excuses
unchallenged? Although their rhetoric may at times sound high and
lofty, it is little more than “double talk” lacking
any meaning or substance whatever.
They voted to go to war because, at that moment in time, they
were afraid not to support the nation in this endeavor. They considered
not the true merits and what was actually best for the nation and
they were not misled by the President contrary to their present
whining and complaining. As I indicated earlier they are either
outright lying or they are inept. If they were misled that easily
with all the power, resources and information available to them
through their office in government, then God help this Nation.
We had better issue a recall because this nation is in serious
trouble (and of course we are). Actions they have since taken verifies
that they were politically motivated and hoped only to ensnare
the President because they have certainly not given this nation
and this President the support needed to fight this war, this war
for our very existence.
The moment they managed to gain a majority in the U. S, Senate
and the U. S. Congress they started acting like a bunch of “big
spoiled babies” with a new toy and wanted to start holding
senseless investigations as the war progressed in a concerted effort
to destroy and/or embarrass the United States President in a time
of war. They started trying to cut funding to our troops yet they
claimed that they were only supporting the troops. They made every
attempt to force surrender, although they called it a “re-distribution
of our troops,” but they also failed. They made every effort
to undermine General Petraeus when they realized, prior to his
report, that He was not going to recommend surrender in Iraq and
again they failed. They lacked wisdom! They still lack wisdom!
They will lack wisdom in the future! Without a dramatic change,
they will never serve the best interest of America!
Even if the President may not have had all the information desired
and may not have called “all the shots” perfectly as
the war progressed (this happens in almost every war) and if our
legislative body did not have all their facts directly on target,
after voting to go to war and placing our troops in harm’s
way, America needed unity and support and to deny that to our President
and to our troops in such a critical time was unthinkable. To do
otherwise was wrong and those responsible should be ashamed. To
withdraw support in mid-stream after committing our troops to battle
to me is almost treasonous. These people were wrong and they continue
on the wrong path by not giving our President and our troops full,
unqualified support today. These people demanded of the President
things which were impossible to project at the beginning of the
war like, “How much will it cost? What is your exit strategy?
How many lives do you project that we will lose? These are impossible
questions for any man to answer at the beginning of any war yet
these people sat back smugly demanding to know details of the end
even before the beginning. They themselves had not a clue as to
what they would or should do in similar situations and they still
have not a clue but they continue to lambast the President only
to make him appear to be unprepared and ill equipped to lead this
nation, rather than providing support and the united front needed
in this effort. The only people I hold more in contempt are those
Hollywood “jerk’s who are attempting to micro-manage
the war.
This call for a “cut and run policy” is also predicated
upon the supposition that the Iraqis have not yet formed a mature
government able to deal with all of the problems coming their way.
Do these people not realize that it took America some ten to twelve
years to develop a sound government? They must have more time and
if we do not give it to them we will be making a colossal mistake.
These people running around claiming that Iraq is not a part of
the war on terror must have their heads buried in the sand. Of
course the war in Iraq is a part of the “war on
terror” and it always has been and shall continue to be about
terror.
Now let’s get to the point of this message and talk about
the loss of life in this war. Of course it is difficult to know
how many innocent lives may have been lost in this war, but we
are dealing with an “evil people” who think nothing
of taking innocent human life by the hundreds of thousands even
the lives of their own people. You simply cannot negotiate with
this diabolical element. America has lost just over three thousand
lives. Any loss of life is sad and tragic but when compared to
the loss of life in previous wars it is relatively light. On the
other hand, it is impossible to know how many hundreds of thousands
of lives may have been saved as a result.
Suddenly, when the democratically controlled congress saw a political
advantage of becoming anti-war, they pounced on it with vengeance,
completely disregarding the negative effect it would have upon
our war effort and our troops who remained in harm’s way.
These guys “blow my mind out of the water” when they
make these irrational, milk-toast statements such as, “I
support our troops but I do not support the war”. Who do
these people think they are kidding? What kind of “jerks” do
these people take the American people to be? How can you support
the American troops and not support the actions for which they
are literally giving their lives. That is impossibility!
Never-the-less let us stop and make an effort to bring some perspective
to this issue. By action from this same liberal legislative body,
aided, of course, by the United States Supreme Court, how many
innocent human lives have been lost through legislation actually
put into effect by these people, knowing full well that it would
result in the death of millions of innocent children and precious
few of them seem to even care about those deaths? I have been told
that since Roe Vs Wade we have taken the lives of some 47,000,000
innocent victims and that figure was given three years ago. We
criticize some of these other nations for so many innocent deaths,
and they should be called to account, but we are not far behind
them and may even be ahead of them when we consider what is taking
place in the abortion mills of this nation. The judgment of Almighty
God could well be coming upon this nation even as we speak. All
these terror attacks may be the beginning of God’s judgment
on America. If indeed it is it will gradually intensify and we
will find no solution. The scoffers will indeed scoff over this
statement but that will not change God’s plans at all and
you can rest assured that God’s plan will move forward unchecked.
These same people that we sent to Washington have literally brought
upon this nation legalized abortion (the taking of innocent human
life) and they continue to defend their reprehensible actions.
This action or inaction has taken more innocent human life in the
past six months than all of the lives we have lost in the war on
terror. Since Roe Vs Wade, the death count has far exceeded all
that we have lost in all the wars in this nation since its inception.
Now, I ask you who is going to stand guilty before the God of the
Universe when this issue is factored into the equation. There aren’t
too many people who even want to hear about this loss of life but
this nation will continue pay a heavy price for this brutality.
It is my opinion, that we are already paying a great price for
this, and indeed it is a grave sin, and we will stand guilty of
taking innocent life, the most innocent life on earth. Sadly we
are doing this with the complete support of the United States Government.
According to another statistic I received we had 33,329 men,
women and/or children killed in automobile accidents in 2005. What
have these legislators done about this problem, since they obviously
cannot lay the blame at the President’s feet? This count
far exceeds the number of lives we have lost in the entire war
on terror including Afghanistan and Iraq together.
Kidnapping and killing of children, of pregnant moms, young college
students, child abductions, and school shootings are becoming common
occurrences in this nation today but we seldom hear little more
than regrets expressed over this loss of life. How do they propose
to resolve these problems, since we can’t “cut and
run” from them? Again, I ask you, could it be that the judgment
of Almighty God is gradually tightening in America? I firmly believe
that it is indeed and that is why we can seemingly do nothing to
stop it. America, we had better wake up!
Some of these ”pseudo intelligent” legislators have
come up with the idea of labeling everything as a “hate-crime” believing
this to be the answer to our crime problem but the problems will
not be resolved by merely relabeling them. The culprit is sin and
sin can be corrected only by a change in the human heart, a spiritual
change that is, and only Jesus Christ can effect such changes in
the human heart, but it seems that this left wing element is doing
everything it can to eliminate even the mentioning the name of
Jesus Christ in public not realizing that He is our last best hope.
This “hate crime” business is about the dumbest” thing
I have ever heard of and it is going to bring on a quagmire of
future problems. I recently published a book entitled “A
Nation In Turmoil: Why?” and it deals with this plus a lot
more issues. This book came off the press seven days prior to 9-11.
I have recently started to serialize this book on my personal website
(iftrue.org). I would encourage you to go to that website and read
it. I think you will find it to be very informative.
Every crime is a hate crime and what more can one say. This current
attempt is nothing more than an attempt gain political favor with
certain groups within our society. It is divisive; it is “dumb”;
it is purely political; and it will not work, but sadly, one day,
it will be turned against the Christian people of this nation as
the coming persecution envelops America. It will, at that point
in time, be used to further restrict our rights and our freedoms
guaranteed under the First Amendment. We had better take a long,
hard look at this issue. However it is not only going to affect
the Christian but the non-Christians as well, for even their freedoms
are likewise in serious jeopardy. It is not going to resolve one
single problem in America. If we do not have laws enough on the
books today to control crime after some two hundred plus years
of legislative action we are not going to succeed by changing the
labels and inflicting unfair advantages over different sects or
groups of people for purely political reasons. But that is the
level at which our liberal legislative friends in Washington are
operating today. We, as a nation, are indeed in trouble simply
because we have abandoned our spiritual heritage and our problems
today, being spiritual in nature, are simply not going to bow the
knee to secular solutions. Therefore, know and understand that
short of a spiritual revival in America we have chosen and set
our eternal destination and the end will not be a happy one. The
truth is that God will not bring this judgment upon America but
America, aided by an ultra-liberal press, a liberal, gutless legislative
and judicial body, and an unconcerned citizenry will bring it upon
herself. America we either stand now or we go down in the flames
of unconcern. The terrorist will not bring America down but the
Judgment of Almighty God may do so. The choice is ours to make,
but time will soon be no more!
Either stand now or prepare to face
your destiny, America!
